Claryence helps new and emerging people managers build confidence where it matters most — in the day-to-day moments of leadership. We combine research, data, and mobile first AI-powered experiential learning to help managers practise real world scenarios, gain feedback, and develop the clarity and confidence to lead effectively.
The team is led by Simon Spiller, founder. Claryence is currently in the pre-revenue stage, developing the tools it will offer to individual managers, Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SME) and corporations in the UK.
The Founder
Simon Spiller
Simon is the founder of Claryence and a leadership and management development specialist with over 30 years' international experience at board level, in consultancy, and as a founder in several sectors.
His career includes: global corporate roles across the US, UK and Europe, senior leadership development programmes at Hewitt Associates, experiential leadership training with Fortune 500 corporations, founding and scaling SMEs, leading a high-risk social care provider for vulnerable adults, developing an AI-enabled learning platform, and frontline leadership in sectors central to the UK economy: tourism, social care, cleaning, hospitality and retail.
Simon has experienced the accidental manager crisis from every possible angle: as an accidental manager himself; as a leader; employer; consultant; behavioural trainer and founder. He has trained or developed thousands of managers and witnessed first-hand the systemic gaps that continue to hold Britain back.
